Grow Resilient. Grow Confident.
Grow You.
In Florida, more than 400,000 youth struggle with emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges, yet only half have access to the mental health services they need. Today’s youth are facing an emotional health crisis, and families need support now more than ever.

At Imperfectly Perfect Counseling Services (IPCS), we believe the bravest thing a young person can be is their true self. That’s why we focus on proactive prevention, not just crisis intervention, helping youth embrace their imperfections, strengthen resilience, and grow into confident, emotionally healthy individuals.

Through our Grow Resilient approach, we equip young people with coping skills, emotional intelligence, and stress management tools to navigate life’s challenges. With Grow Confident, we help build self-esteem, identity, and communication skills so youth can feel empowered to express themselves and face the world with courage. And with Grow You, we provide a safe, supportive space for youth to discover their authentic selves while fostering stronger, healthier relationships with their families.

We know mental wellness starts at home, which is why parents and caregivers are intentionally involved every step of the way. We empower families with tools to communicate, connect, and heal together, ensuring no young person has to face life’s challenges alone, and no parent feels powerless to help.

At IPCS, we’re here to guide, empower, and inspire young people ages 10 to 25 to discover their voice, their strength, and their path to wellness. Because every journey is unique, but no one has to walk it alone.

About Me
Hi, I’m Jessica Lumpkin, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and National Certified Counselor with over a decade of experience helping children, young adults, and families navigate life’s challenges. I’m passionate about shifting the narrative around mental health, focusing on prevention, early intervention, and empowering young people to thrive in a complex world.

I’ve always loved plants and flowers, watching something start as a tiny seed, weather storms, and still bloom beautifully has taught me so much about life. Counseling is a lot like gardening: growth takes time, care, and patience, and every individual blooms at their own pace. My goal is to help youth nurture their resilience, grow confidence, and discover their unique strength, even when life feels messy.

Drawing from my experience with both military and civilian populations, I specialize in creating safe, judgment-free spaces where young people can explore who they are, process their emotions, and build healthy coping skills. I believe that every young person is already “imperfectly perfect”, and with the right tools, they can bloom, shine, and grow into the fullest version of themselves.

Because just like plants, we all have the power to grow, sometimes we just need the right environment to flourish. 🌱
